Volleyball Recap: Mineral Wells Rams vs. Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees

Mineral Wells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They came up short against the Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellow Jackets/Honeybees this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 25-10.

Averie Watson paced Mineral Wells' offense, picking up 15 kills. Watson got some help from Jentry Jeter and her 13 assists. Finally, Emeri Boswell kept Mineral Wells' defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Mineral Wells' record is now 10-22-1. As for Stephenville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-11 record this season.
