Soccer Recap: Fort Mill Comes Up Short

Fort Mill managed to keep up with Clover until halftime on Sunday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Fort Mill Yellow Jackets lost 4-0 to the Clover Blue Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Yellow Jackets in their matchups with the Blue Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Fort Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Clover, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Fort Mill will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Dutch Fork at 7:00 p.m. As for Clover, they are taking a road trip to challenge Oceanside Collegiate Academy at 12:00 p.m. on March 9th. Clover is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.
