Soccer Game Preview: Colonial vs. Winter Park

Colonial is 0-9-1 against Winter Park since November of 2014 but things could change on Friday. The Colonial Grenadiers will head out on the road to face off against the Winter Park Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Colonial sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Orlando Science. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Grenadiers.

Meanwhile, Winter Park kept a clean sheet against Lake Buena Vista on Wednesday. They blew past the Vipers 3-0.

Winter Park has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those five contests. As for Colonial, their win bumped their record up to 8-3-3.
