Basketball Recap: Jacob Sidwell and Noah Barnes Secure Win for Parkway South

There's no place like home for Parkway South, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in December of 2024. They came out on top against the Seckman Jaguars by a score of 58-46 on Monday. While the Patriots didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Leading Parkway South to victory were Noah Barnes and Jacob Sidwell. Barnes went 6 for 15 on his way to 19 points along with five assists and four steals, while Sidwell went 8 of 11 en route to 21 points and five boards. Barnes' evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sam Duncan, who posted seven points.

Parkway South's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. As for Seckman, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Parkway South beat Seckman by a score of 58-46 on Tuesday.
