Alliance Health Services Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 28-1 to the Middle College Cougars. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Wolves couldn't push the score so high this time.

Alliance Health Services Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Middle College, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alliance Health Services Academy will take on Animo Robinson at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Middle College, they will venture away from home to challenge Stella High Charter Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.86 runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of.
