Volleyball Recap: Allentown Central Catholic Has No Trouble Against William Allen

Allentown Central Catholic's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the William Allen Canaries as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Allentown Central Catholic was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-11, 25-9.

Briana Bauer had a dynamite game, getting 27 digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last four matchups. Another player making a difference was Lexie Visco, who had nine digs and two aces.

With the win, Allentown Central Catholic broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 11-5-1. As for William Allen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8-1.
