Basketball Recap: Perry County Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Buckhorn last Thursday, Perry County Central came back down to earth. The Perry County Central Commodores lost to the Jackson County Generals at home by a 53-35 margin on Saturday. If the Commodores were looking for revenge after losing 64-53 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Perry County Central has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-9 record this season. As for Jackson County, their win bumped their record up to 7-10.

Coming up, Perry County Central will take on Owsley County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jackson County, they will challenge Bell County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
