Softball Recap: Herrin Tigers vs. Benton Rangers
Benton typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Herrin proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Rangers. The Tigers have beaten the Rangers the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Rangers has come to flipping the script.
Brooke Hudgens spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits.
