Fordham Prep had won two straight games and Brian Kapfer did his part to make it three on Monday. The Fordham Prep Rams secured a 51-46 W over the Sun Valley Vanguards thanks in part to Kapfer, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten boards. The matchup was his tenth in a row with at least ten points.
The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Herlick, who posted eight points in addition to seven assists and five boards. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Fordham Prep's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Sun Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.
Fordham Prep will challenge St. Joseph-by-the-Sea at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sun Valley, they will take on Academy Park at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
