Lemont is a perfect 9-0 against Evergreen Park since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Lemont HS will take on the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Lemont's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Evergreen Park's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Lemont is headed into the contest having not lost since March 18 and will look to keep things rolling. Everything went their way against Oak Forest on Tuesday as they made off with a 6-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Lemont, who have now won nine matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Evergreen Park's offense. They fell 2-0 to Tinley Park on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Evergreen Park can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while Tinley Park are ranked 78th).

Lemont's win bumped their record up to 12-1-1. As for Evergreen Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8-2.

Everything went Lemont's way against Evergreen Park in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Lemont made off with an 8-1 victory. In that match, the Lemont HS amassed a halftime lead of 4-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
