Basketball Game Preview: Tremont Turks vs. Tri-Valley Vikings

Tremont is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Tri-Valley is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Tremont Turks will host the Tri-Valley Vikings at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tremont knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Tri-Valley likes a good challenge.

On Monday, everything came up roses for Tremont against Heyworth as the squad secured a 69-36 win. The Turks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Tri-Valley didn't have too much trouble with LeRoy on Monday as they won 57-43.

Tri-Valley has also been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 18 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Tremont, their victory bumped their record up to 24-4.

Things could have been worse for Tremont, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 63-49 loss to Tri-Valley when the teams last played back in February of 2024.
