Baseball Game Preview: Onalaska Loggers vs. Mossyrock Vikings

For the second straight game, Onalaska will face off against Mossyrock. The Loggers will take on the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Monday just wasn't the day for Onalaska's offense. They fell just short of Mossyrock by a score of 1-0 on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Loggers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Onalaska got a good showing from Jaxon Dhone, who struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Those zero earned runs gave Dhone a new career-low.

On the hitting side, Onalaska saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddox Mckinley, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. Mckinley is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Broxton Mounce also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Onalaska's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Mossyrock, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.
