Baseball Recap: Liberty Tech Magnet Comes Up Short

Liberty Tech Magnet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 21-0 to the Scotts Hill Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Tuesday.

Liberty Tech Magnet's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Scotts Hill, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-10-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty Tech Magnet will welcome Madison at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Scotts Hill, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Chester County at 6:00 p.m. Scotts Hill's pitchers better be ready for this one: Chester County has averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
