Recap: Great Mills Hornets vs. South Bronx Prep Cougars
The Great Mills Hornets had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a serious blow against South Bronx Prep, falling 60-28.
Karleigh Thomas was Great Mills' leading scorer, having posted eight points.
Telisa Adams held things down on the boards with eight rebounds. Adams took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
Great Mills' loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for South Bronx Prep, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Great Mills will be playing at home against Northeast at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for South Bronx Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Walton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
