Volleyball Recap: Lakeville South Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lakeville South entered their tilt with Minnetonka on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Skippers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Skippers, too.

While Lakeville South won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16, 25-20.

Lakeville South's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Minnetonka, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Looking ahead, Lakeville South will take on Prior Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Minnetonka, they are taking a road trip to face off against Wayzata at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
