Football Recap: Southbridge Pioneers vs. North Polar Bears        
        
		
             After soaring to 32  points the game before, Southbridge was a bit more limited  in their  contest  on Saturday. They came up short against  the North Polar Bears, falling  36-12. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pioneers of the  14-8 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in November of 2022.
 Despite the loss, Southbridge still got an impressive performance from   Alexis Ramos, who rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 23 yards and a touchdown.
 Southbridge's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for North,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-6.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southbridge will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bartlett at 10:15  a.m.  on November 28th. Southbridge is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season. North also won't see the field for a while: their next  game is against South at 12:00  p.m.  on November 27th.
