McLean County entered their tilt with Hopkins County Central on Tuesday with six consecutive wins dating back to last season, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They never let the Hopkins County Central Storm get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Storm, too.

Jaelin Groves was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Groves was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Layden Bozarth was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brooks Lynam, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

McLean County pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
