Softball Recap: O'Connell Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for O'Connell's offense. They lost 15-0 to the St. Joseph Catholic Eagles on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 26 runs in the game before, the Buccaneers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

O'Connell's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for St. Joseph Catholic, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Coincidentally, O'Connell and St. Joseph Catholic will both be playing Alpha Omega Academy the next time they take the field. St. Joseph Catholic will head out to face Alpha Omega Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while O'Connell will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
