After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rivers, Hamden Hall Country Day was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past Proctor Academy, posting a 36-7 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

Austin McWeeney had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 81 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also catching one score. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 61 yards.

Hamden Hall Country Day pushed their record up to 2-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.2 points on average this season. As for Proctor Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.
