Softball Recap: Englewood Pirates vs. Middle Park Panthers
Englewood was the 15-10 winner over Middle Park when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Englewood Pirates fell just short of the Middle Park Panthers by a score of 8-7 on Saturday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Englewood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Middle Park, their victory ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-7.
Englewood will face off against Centaurus at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Middle Park, they will square off against Arvada at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Middle Park is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.4 runs per game this season.
