Lee-Scott Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Alabama Christian Academy Eagles 58-32 on Thursday. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 51-30 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lee-Scott Academy found their leader in sophomore Clarke Ivatt, who went 8-for-20 on her way to 24 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Ivatt is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 16 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Sutton Lewis, who posted eight points.
