Basketball Recap: Chinook Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Chester-Joplin-Inverness

On Saturday, Chinook faced Chester-Joplin-Inverness in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Chinook Beeters took a 46-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chester-Joplin-Inverness Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-45 back in January.

Chinook's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Chester-Joplin-Inverness, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3.

As of now, neither Chinook nor Chester-Joplin-Inverness have any future games scheduled.
