Volleyball Recap: Guernsey-Sunrise Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Guernsey-Sunrise came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Lingle-Fort Laramie Doggers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Doggers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Guernsey-Sunrise was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-19, 25-16.

Kamlee Collar paced Guernsey-Sunrise's offense, picking up four kills. Collar really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with four. Shalease Fross controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Guernsey-Sunrise's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Lingle-Fort Laramie, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-9.

Guernsey-Sunrise has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Niobrara County on the 17th. As for Lingle-Fort Laramie, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Pine Bluffs on the 17th.
