Wellsville never let their opponents score on Friday. Everything went their way against the Cuba-Rushford Rebels as they made off with a 16-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now won six in a row.

Kennedy Perry made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
