Strawberry Crest and Newsome are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Chargers will challenge the Wolves at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither Strawberry Crest nor Newsome posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Strawberry Crest heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Plant City. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Strawberry Crest saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dillon Knight, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Newsome waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They had just enough and edged out the Raiders 2-0.

Not much got past JP GLASSFORD, who gave up just three hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Plant City off the board. GLASSFORD has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

Newsome's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Strawberry Crest, their loss dropped their record down to 18-7.

Strawberry Crest might still be hurting after the 9-0 defeat they got from Newsome in their previous matchup back in February. Can the Chargers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
