Basketball Recap: Maine Central Institute Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Erskine Academy, Maine Central Institute was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They managed a 37-32 victory over the Maranacook Black Bears. This was a revenge game for the Huskies: when they faced off against the Black Bears last Saturday, they had to take a 58-15 defeat.

Maine Central Institute's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Maranacook, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maine Central Institute will welcome Leavitt at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Leavitt will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Maine Central Institute surely won't give up without a fight. As for Maranacook, they will host Madison at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
