Softball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Carter Cowboys, falling 28-0. The Mustangs lost against the Cowboys in their previous head to head back in April of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 7-0 score last time.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Carter, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3-1.

While Roosevelt had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
