Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday Christian Smith stepped things up a notch to give Snowflake the 'W'. Smith went 5 of 8 on his way to 13 points, good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process. We marked that as the best performance he's had all season, even better than his effort on January 21st (when he posted four points) (Gamescore: 12.3 vs. 6.3).

Looking ahead, Smith and Snowflake will look to defend their home court on February 14th against San Tan Foothills at 7:00 p.m. Smith will face off against Julius Carlisle, the Sabercats' star point guard.
