Baseball Recap: Saint Francis Catholic Picks Up Fifth Straight Win on the Road

Saint Francis Catholic hadn't done well against Fort White recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Wolves came out on top against the Indians by a score of 7-3. The victory was nothing new for the Wolves as they're now sitting on three straight.

Nate Muir made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Dylan Diaz was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Fort White, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
