Softball Game Preview: Jordan Panthers vs. Woodrow Wilson Bruins

Jordan is 0-10 against Woodrow Wilson since April of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bruins at 4:00 p.m. Jordan has given up an average of 12.9 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Jordan came up short against Lakewood two weeks ago, falling 15-4.

Meanwhile, Woodrow Wilson fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Long Beach Poly on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jackrabbits. The Bruins' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Sacha Zalamea made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Katherine Theriault, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Jordan now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Woodrow Wilson, they now have a losing record of 11-12.
