There's no place like home for MICDS, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against Ladue Horton Watkins by a score of 3-1 on Friday. For MICDS, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory Ladue Horton Watkins walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

MICDS was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 24-26, 25-13.

MICDS' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alayna Wright, who had eight digs and five assists. Those five assists gave Wright a new career-high.
