Soccer Game Preview: Randall vs. Perryton

The Randall Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Perryton Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Randall is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They put the hurt on Hereford with a sharp 8-3 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won four matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Perryton had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Bulldogs.

Perryton's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four games. As for Randall, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.

Randall might still be hurting after the 5-1 loss they got from Perryton in their previous matchup back in January. Can Randall avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
