Softball Recap: Danbury Comes Up Short

After flying high against Old Fort last Monday, Danbury came back down to earth. The Lakers fell just short of the St. Joseph Central Catholic Crimson Streaks by a score of 20-19 on Wednesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (17), the Lakers still had to take the loss.

The defeat snapped Danbury's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-2 record. As for St. Joseph Central Catholic, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Danbury will venture away from home to face off against St. Paul at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
