Valparaiso came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against Hammond Bishop Noll, but Saul Cordero wouldn't allow it. The Warriors walked away with a 3-1 win over the Vikings on Tuesday for which the team can thank Cordero, who had ten digs and two assists. He has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times he's played.

The victory didn't come easy: Valparaiso scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-18, 22-25, 25-20.

The win was the third in a row for Hammond Bishop Noll, bringing their record up to 3-0. As for Valparaiso, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hammond Bishop Noll will host Andrean at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Fighting 59ers will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Valparaiso, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against La Porte at 6:00 p.m. The Vikings are facing the Slicers at the right time seeing as the Slicers are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
