Basketball Recap: Sweet Water's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Sweet Water's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They put the hurt on the Johnson Eagles with a sharp 59-39 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

The victory got Sweet Water back to even at 1-1. As for Johnson, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sweet Water will take on Blacksher in a holiday battle at at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Johnson, they will venture away from home to take on Marengo at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
