Atlee had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Cosby Titans. Given Atlee's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while Cosby are ranked 120th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Atlee's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those four games. As for Cosby, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7-1.
