After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dumas, Randall was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Canyon Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-3 back in January.

Randall picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 6-9. As for Canyon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Randall and Canyon could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Randall (ranked 662nd) will meet West Plains (ranked 225th) at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Randall is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. Meanwhile, Canyon will challenge Dumas at 5:00 p.m. on Friday down 468 places (676 vs. 208).
