Baseball Game Preview: Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions vs. Eno River Academy Bobcats

The Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions will head out to challenge the Eno River Academy Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Excelsior Classical Academy can't be to happy about their upcoming road game considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Monday. They came up short against Vance Charter, falling 17-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Meanwhile, Eno River Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against J.F. Webb as Eno River Academy made off with a 13-3 win.

The team relied heavily on Kai Norcross, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Orren Sievert, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one run.

Excelsior Classical Academy might still be hurting after the 12-3 loss they got from Eno River Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Excelsior Classical Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
