Volleyball Recap: Swanton Takes a Loss

Swanton lost against Perrysburg two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bulldogs fell 3-1 to the Yellow Jackets. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Swanton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-8, 26-24, 30-28.

Swanton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Perrysburg, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Swanton is set to face off against their familiar foe Northwest Ohio Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Perrysburg will challenge rival HEA Firebirds HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
