Soccer Recap: Vail Mountain Comes Up Short

Vail Mountain lost against Steamboat Springs back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Gore Rangers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sailors. Vail Mountain have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vail Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 5-3-1. As for Steamboat Springs, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-5-1.

Vail Mountain will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Roaring Fork at 4:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Steamboat Springs, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against Rifle on the 17th.
