Basketball Game Preview: Lake Hornets vs. Pisgah Dragons + How To Watch

The Lake Hornets will square off against the Pisgah Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

On Saturday, Lake ended up a good deal behind Forest and lost 51-35.

Meanwhile, Pisgah strolled past Park Place Christian Academy with points to spare last Saturday, taking the game 61-42. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

Pisgah found their leader in sophomore Luke Sanders, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 17 rebounds. The game was Sanders' third in a row with at least 15 points. Zane Smith was another key player, putting up 19 points along with six boards and three steals.

Pisgah smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since the start of last season.

Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pisgah, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Everything came up roses for Lake against Pisgah in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 66-38 win. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
