Basketball Recap: Lucy Beckham Takes a Loss

Lucy Beckham lost against Greenville back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lucy Beckham Bengals took a 52-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greenville Red Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Bengals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Red Raiders are ranked tenth).

Lucy Beckham now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Greenville, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Lucy Beckham and American Leadership Academy will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenville, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Travelers Rest at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
