Softball Recap: Bluffton Comes Up Short

After flying high against Cross last Friday, Bluffton came back down to earth. The Bobcats lost 18-3 to the Beaufort Eagles on Wednesday. The Bobcats have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Bluffton now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Beaufort, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Bluffton is set to take on their familiar foe Hilton Head Island at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Beaufort will square off against rival Colleton County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
