Softball Recap: Tawas Area Has No Trouble Against Valley Lutheran

Tawas Area won the last time they faced Valley Lutheran and things went their way on Saturday too. The Braves put the hurt on the Chargers with a sharp 10-4 win. Considering the Braves have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Tawas Area has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Valley Lutheran, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.

Looking ahead, Tawas Area will be playing in front of their home fans against Glenn at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley Lutheran, they will take on Beaverton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
