Softball Recap: Belgreen's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

It was a good run, but Belgreen unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 5-2 to the Madison County Tigers.

Kendra Williams made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Belgreen's defeat dropped their record down to 24-13. As for Madison County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-10 record this season.

Belgreen will face off against Tharptown at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Madison County, they will take on Sparkman at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
