Football Game Preview: Fairhaven Blue Devils vs. Dartmouth Indians + Official Tickets

The Fairhaven Blue Devils are taking a road trip to take on the Dartmouth Indians at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Fairhaven's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

Fairhaven is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bishop Fenwick 49-20. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-7.

Fairhaven found their leader in sophomore Kyle Soares, who rushed for 201 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 44 receiving yards and one score. Those 201 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Soares.

Fairhaven was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 339 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September.

Meanwhile, Dartmouth came up short against Plymouth South last Friday and fell 21-14. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fairhaven's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.1 points on average over those games. As for Dartmouth, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Fairhaven came up short against Dartmouth when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 21-16. Can the Blue Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
