Basketball Recap: Stockton's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

Stockton got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They enjoyed a cozy 52-38 victory over the West Carroll Thunder on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Blackhawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Stockton's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12. As for West Carroll, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.

Stockton and West Carroll could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Stockton (ranked 633rd) will meet Warren (ranked 267th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, West Carroll will face off against East Dubuque at 7:30 p.m. on Friday down 495 places (676 vs. 181).
