Soccer Game Preview: Randle vs. Lamar Consolidated

The Randle Lions will head out to challenge the Lamar Consolidated Mustangs at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Randle will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Fort Bend Marshall on Friday. Everything went Randle's way against Fort Bend Marshall as Randle made off with an 8-0 victory. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Buffalos recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Lamar Consolidated fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Fort Bend Kempner. Two seems to be a good number for the Mustangs as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Lamar Consolidated now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Randle, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.

Everything went Randle's way against Lamar Consolidated in their previous meeting back in February, as Randle made off with a 4-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Randle since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
