Softball Recap: Hardin Valley Academy Finds Home Field Redemption Against Morristown-Hamblen West

There's no place like home for Hardin Valley Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Morristown-Hamblen West Trojans with a sharp 9-3 win on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Hawks as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Hardin Valley Academy let Emma Kate Schneider and Avery Snyder run wild. Schneider went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Snyder went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double was Snyder's first of the season. Kate Smith was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Hardin Valley Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-20. As for Morristown-Hamblen West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.
