Danville is 7-1 against Pulaski County since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Admirals will take on the Maroons at 6:00 p.m. Danville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Danville didn't have quite enough to beat Mercer County and fell 2-1.

Danville saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was DyiRon Moody, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Pulaski County's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Whitley County by a score of 3-2.

Pulaski County also got a good showing from Dawson Branscum, who tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Branscum has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Chase Farmer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Danville's record now sits at 19-7. As for Pulaski County, their record is now 14-6.

Danville came out on top in a nail-biter against Pulaski County when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 13-12. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Admirals since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
